Banner printing in Cluj-Napoca

We work with frontlit PVC for everyday outdoor use, blockout for double-sided visibility and mesh for fences and scaffolding where wind has to pass through. Printing is done on a Roland VG3-540, which gives 1.37 m of width without a seam; anything wider is welded panel by panel and the weld line is planned where it disturbs the design least. Standard finishing includes a glued or welded perimeter hem, at your choice (welding takes longer) and metal eyelets every 50 cm, which is what keeps a banner in shape after a season outdoors.

Frontlit is the right choice for shop-window banners, store entrances, launches and short indoor or outdoor events, where color density and a solid, full look matter most. Mesh is recommended wherever wind is a real concern: tall facades, scaffolding, construction-site fences or temporary structures at outdoor events, because the perforated material lets air pass through and reduces pressure on the mounting structure. Blockout is useful when the banner is printed on both sides or when there is a strong light source behind it and you don't want the image to show through the material. The Roland VG3-540 prints without welding up to a width of 1.37 m; this limit applies to the shorter side of the banner, regardless of how the piece is oriented on the roll. In the online configurator you can set a length of up to 10 m, and if both sides of the banner exceed 1.37 m, the piece can no longer be calculated automatically and receives a personalised quote. For banners wider than this limit, we weld panels from the same material and position the seam so it falls outside the text or logo, not over the visible area. The distance between grommets can be adjusted if the mounting structure requires it, and the perimeter hem remains included regardless of size. Tell us in advance how the piece will be mounted, so we can choose the right spacing between grommets and the exact position of the weld.

For accurate results, send the file as a PDF or in vector format (AI, EPS, CDR), with all text converted to curves, so the output does not depend on fonts installed on our side. If you are working with a raster image, the resolution must be calculated at the final print size, not enlarged afterward from a small file: for a banner viewed up close we recommend a minimum of 100 dpi at 1:1 scale, while for facades viewed from a distance this value can drop without the pixelation becoming visible from the street. We work in CMYK, so an image sent in RGB will be converted before printing, and very saturated colors may come out slightly different from what you see on screen. Leave at least 3 cm of free space from the cut edge for text and important elements, since this is the area where grommets or the perimeter hem may fall. If the file needs resolution or margin corrections, we point out exactly what needs adjusting before production starts, not after.
