Whether you are promoting an event, setting up an exhibition, or running a local campaign, posters remain one of the most direct ways to put a message in front of people, indoors or out on the street. We work out of Cluj-Napoca, from Victor Babeș 37, and we print both standard-size posters and large-format pieces, for one-off projects or full display campaigns.
The A3 format is the starting point for most poster orders, printed on 170 g/m² paper, single-sided, in the fixed configuration shown in the configurator. For anything beyond A3 – A2, A1, banners, or larger display boards – pricing is calculated separately, based on the exact dimensions and the paper chosen. If your project needs something bigger than the standard office formats, take a look at our large-format posters, where every order is discussed individually, based on the final surface and the distance from which it will be viewed.
170 g/m² suits indoor posters; for outdoor displays we recommend large-format printing. The fixed configuration is A3, 170 g/m², single-sided. For a firmer result, choose 250–300 g/m² from the configurator. Available weights are 90, 135, 160, 170, 200, 250 and 300 g/m². Consider the display location, frame position and glass reflections under strong light. For rain, facades and fences, request an appropriate large-format material.
A poster only looks right at print if the source file was prepared correctly. Photos need to be exported at a resolution that matches the final size – an image that looks sharp on screen can turn blurry on a large format, since the resolution needed grows together with the printed surface. Logos and simple graphic elements should ideally be supplied as vector files rather than rasterised images, so the edges stay clean no matter how much the poster is enlarged. If you are not sure whether your file is ready, we check it before production starts and tell you exactly what needs adjusting.
A poster is not read the way a regular page of text is – it is scanned quickly, often while walking past, from a greater distance than the one we normally read documents at. That is why visual hierarchy matters more than the sheer amount of information: the headline or main message needs to be visible from a distance, while secondary details (date, location, link, schedule) can sit lower, with less contrast. If the poster will be displayed indoors, close to the viewer, text sizes can be smaller than for a poster mounted on a street panel, where the reading distance is far greater. We talk through the display context with you before finalising the format, since the same layout can work very differently depending on where it ends up.
Before a file goes into production, we check its content – text, colours, bleed, and resolution – to avoid surprises after printing. You approve the final proofreading, and we check for common technical issues: fonts that were not embedded, colours set up incorrectly for print, elements cut off at the edge, or resolution too low for the chosen format. If we spot an issue, we come back with specific notes before moving forward, so the order reaches its final form without wasted time or material.
Standard production in 3–5 working days, express 48 h or urgent 24 h on request. These are production times; pickup or courier handover follows completion.
Finished orders can be picked up directly from our location at Victor Babeș 37, in Cluj-Napoca, or shipped by courier, both within Romania and to other countries in the European Union. We agree on the best method together, depending on how urgent the order is, its size, and where you need the materials.
A poster rarely works on its own – it is usually part of a larger campaign, alongside flyers, roll-ups, or large-format pieces for storefronts and events. If you are planning a full campaign, we can align formats and paper choices across all the pieces, so the visual identity stays consistent from the indoor poster all the way to the large-format pieces displayed outdoors. For the bigger parts of the campaign, our large-format posters section is the right starting point for discussing the technical specifications.
For paper with other textures and finishes, see premium stationery. Banners and other displays beyond paper formats are covered on the large-format printing page.
It depends on the viewing distance – for a small room, A3 is usually enough, but for large lobbies or entrances, a format larger than A3 gives better visibility.
You can order as many copies as you need, from a single piece to larger runs for wider display.
We recommend 170 g/m² indoors and 250–300 g/m² for a firmer result. Outdoors, choose large-format printing on a suitable material.
Logos and key text elements should ideally be vector; photos can stay raster, as long as the resolution is high enough for the final size.
